01Summary
Three Anchor LLC collects the minimum required to answer a message and to know when something has crashed. No advertising, no trackers, no data sales, no mailing list.
02What is collected
- What you send. Name, email address and message when you write to us or use the contact form.
- Server logs. IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, kept briefly for security and diagnostics.
- Diagnostics, on opt-in. Crash reports and anonymous counts delivered through Apple's own reporting tools, not linked to your identity. Sharing them is a choice you make in iOS settings (Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements) and can be turned off there at any time.
03What is not collected
No contacts, location, health data, photographs or advertising identifiers. Content you create in our software stays on your device or in your own iCloud account unless a feature states otherwise.
04Cookies and tracking
The site sets no cookies and uses no local storage, analytics or tracking of any kind. Because nothing tracks you, browser "do not track" signals change nothing — the answer is already no. One exception, in self-defence: the contact form runs Cloudflare Turnstile, which inspects your browser just enough to tell a person from a bot before a message is accepted. Cloudflare processes those signals for that purpose, not for advertising, under its own privacy policy.
05Purpose
To reply to you, operate and support the products, fix defects, protect the site, and meet legal obligations. Where a lawful basis is required it is consent, our legitimate interest in operating the workshop, or performance of a contract with you.
06Disclosure
Shared only with the services needed to operate — hosting, email delivery, app distribution, payment processing, bot screening on the contact form — and only as far as that work requires. Each of those providers is required to protect your information to at least the standard described here. Otherwise disclosed only where the law demands it. Never sold or rented.
07Where data is processed
We operate from the United States, and the services we use process data there. If you write to us from elsewhere, your information crosses borders to reach us and is handled as this policy describes. Where the law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on recognised mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses or our providers' Data Privacy Framework certification.
08Retention
Messages and crash reports: until they are no longer needed, or until you ask for them to be deleted. Server logs: up to thirty days.
09Your rights
You may request a copy of the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Where processing rests on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Write to hello at 3anchor dot org; you will have an answer within thirty days. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing or to complain to a supervisory authority.
10Children
Our products are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and it will be deleted.
11Changes
Revisions are posted here with a new date at the top of the page.
